Tattoos : Tim is heavily tattooed. He has several distinct tattoos, including a pentagram on the back of his left hand,a spider-web on the inside of his hand. Graffiti-style writing on his neck and a Skull on his right cheek.

Circumstances: Although Tim Wallis vanished in 2010 he wasn’t reported as missing until 2015, when his brother couldn’t contact him regarding a relative’s death. Police said then that he was last seen at a fish and chip shop on Hillside Rd, Dunedin, on August 6, 2010. His bank accounts were open but had not been used since this date.

In 2015 , police said Tim had spoken about “disappearing to the North Island”, where he had family.

Police stated that he saw his ex-girlfriend in Rotorua and that was the last sighting of him. He was going to Auckland then Whangarei and he never got there.

An episode of Police Ten 7 in 2015 appeared to support this theory. An appeal was made for information on Tims’ whereabouts, it put his last confirmed sighting in Rotorua in September 2010 and noted he planned to travel to Auckland then Whangarei but never made it.

Tim had a son that was a few weeks old at the time of his disappearance.

In an article, the mother of his son reported that Tim had been in and out of jail , and lived an unsettled life.

“He’s sort of the person that used to disappear a lot.

She described Tim as  a very closed off sort of person. Very flighty. Always coming and going.

Since the last confirmed sighting of Tim was in Rotorua, but his bank account was  last used on the night of 6 August 2010 in Dunedin, police believe he may be actively avoiding being found or may have potentially fallen victim to foul play.

In 2016,  police said the case had been referred to the coroner, as “all lines of enquiries have been exhausted”.

“However, if we do receive any new information, police will continue to make enquiries.”

In August this year (2018), it will be 8 years since Tim disappeared. He has a handsome young son who does not know what happened to his dad.
